Arena SHMUP (Untitled)

Attempt at a top down wave based shooter inspired by games like Geometry Wars and Zombies Ate My Neighbors with tight fast-paced controls and power ups. The theme was in the realm of steampunk and cyberpunk, but it wasn’t heavily adhered to. I did all the concepts, pixel art and animation, and some early UI while a friend worked on the final UI (and a pretty fire hydrant). The game originally began in 3D and was medieval-fantasy themed before moving toward 2D.
